Waldo G. Pierson

Waldo G. Pierson, 81, of Lincoln, passed away September 30, 2014. Born December 22, 1932 in Ionia, Kan. to Glen and Georgia Juanita (Sneller) Pierson. U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. Retired salesman, Lifetime and Nebraskaland Window's and Siding Companies. Member of American Legion Post #3 and V.F.W.

 

Family members include his wife, Iola; son, Tom (Patti) Pierson, Lincoln; granddaughters, Hannah and Rachel Pierson; brother, Wayne Pierson, Hays, Kan.; niece, Susan Laws. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Richard Pierson.

Funeral service: 11 a.m. Saturday (10/4), Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 'O' Street. Burial: 1:30 p.m. in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery. Memorials to the family. Visitation beginning noon on Friday, with family greeting friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday at Roper and Sons. Condolences online at Roperandsons.com.
