Melvin Edward Luben, 70, of Pleasant Dale, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012. He was born in O'Neil on July 20, 1941 to Melvin and June M. (Fox) Luben. Melvin was raised in the Emmet area. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1962. Melvin was united in marriage on March 15, 1975 in Lincoln to Roxanne M. (Riley). Melvin worked for L.E.S. for 37 years as a field supervisor and retired in 2004. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

Melvin is survived by his loving wife, Roxie of Pleasant Dale.
