Pavlik, Robert F. "Bob"

Robert F. "Bob" Pavlik, 73, Lincoln, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013. Bob was born Oct. 24, 1940 to Frank and Emma Pavlik and grew up in the Verdigre area. Bob was in data processing and sales for State Distributing Company. Bob had a heart of gold and would help anyone who needed it. He accepted people for who they were. Bob was a faithful and dedicated usher at Saint Paul United Methodist Church. Bob was grateful for the life he lived, for his son Tom and the rest of his family, and for being able to finish the race with 18 years of sobriety, and to die in God's peace.

Bob is survived by his son, Tom Pavlik; brother, Richard (Doris) Pavlik; and sister, Mary Ellen Hahn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kay; and children, Bobbie Jo, Thad, and Shane; parents Frank and Emma.

Celebration of Life: 10 a.m. Saturday (12/7), at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 1144 M St., Lincoln.
