Daniel L. Hedglin

Daniel L. Hedglin, died Sept. 27, 2014 at the age of 75 surrounded by his family. He was born Aug. 1, 1939 in Ft. Knox, Ky. to Leslie and Helga Hedglin. U.S. Army veteran. Vice president, Sales and Marketing and director of Sales and Distribution for Cushman. Member of the American Legion, and Past Kentucky Colonel. Dan had a passion for sports, pitching semi pro baseball, and housed many hockey players throughout the years.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Patricia Woll-Hedglin; daughters, Karen Hedglin-Barnard (Steve), Susie (Steve) Melcher, Kim (Tim) Lassen; step-sons, Phil (Ruth) Woll, Jon (Mary) Woll; grandchildren, Sam and Ella Barnard, Evan and Alex Melcher, Kyra and Brinlee Lassen, Zoey and Jack Woll; sister, Patricia Metcalf; many nieces, nephews, loved ones, and faithful dogs. Preceded in death by parents, and wife, Dorothy Louise.

Visitation: 2 - 8 p.m. Wednesday (10/1) with family greeting friends 6 - 8 p.m. at Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 'O' St. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday (10/2) at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 'O' Street with Pastor Michael Ryan officiating.
