John M. Cochran, 65, of Lincoln, died June 5, 2017. Graveside services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell. Memorials: to the family for later designation. www.bmlfh.com

John will be missed especially at Early Birds where he was a regular attendee and a valuable member of the group. He often chaired meetings and added his humor and wisdom whenever it was needed and we needed it. John "Vegas" Cochran will be sorely missed ! Prepare a place for us at the meetings in heaven, John ! The suffering is over !

John was a veteran of the US Navy and fought a tremendous fight to stay with us. He died with over two years sober ! Way to go, John !

John made a lot of friends in his recovery !
